Commissionerate Police Seize Rs 3.60 Lakh During Line Checking In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police recovered unaccounted cash to the tune of Rs 3.60 from a car during line checking in the capital city of Bhubaneswar on Saturday late night.

The money was seized from one Amallan Jyoti Prakash Singh, a native of Chandaka.

According to the Bhubaneswar Police Commissioner Sanjeev Panda, Chandrashekharpur Police seized Rs 3.60 lakh from a car during line checking near Omfed Street in Bhubaneswar on Saturday night. As the person carrying the cash could not give any satisfactory answer, the police seized it and detained Singh for interrogation.

Amallan Jyoti Prakash Singh told the police that he owns a water purification company in Satsang in Puri district and he was carrying the money to pay his employees’ wages.
