Cops On Toes For Smooth Celebration Of Mahashivratri At Lingaraj Temple

Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police has made elaborate security arrangements for the smooth celebration of Mahashivratri at Lingaraj temple in Bhubaneswar.

In view of the large public gathering at the historic shrine on Mahashivratri tomorrow, extensive security arrangements have been mobilized, according to an official statement.

Five additional DCPs, 14 ACPs, 21 Inspectors, 84 SI/ASI, 45 APR constables, 48 OR police personnel, 93 section force and 112 home guards have been deputed to oversee the security and traffic arrangements.

DCP Prateek Singh Singh will supervise the entire security.

Emphasis has been given to the traffic system for the smooth movement of devotees and common commuters.
