Malkangiri: Three people lost their lives and one sustained serious injuries following a collision between two motorcycles near MV-11 under Malkangiri Sadar police limits on Saturday.
According to sources, a couple traveling from Malkangiri towards Korukonda was struck by another motorcycle coming from the opposite direction at high speed. The impact of the collision proved fatal for the couple and another individual involved in the accident.
The identities of the deceased are yet to be confirmed. The injured person has been rushed to the District Headquarters Hospital in Malkangiri for treatment.
Upon receiving information, Malkangiri Sadar Police reached the spot, recovered the bodies, and launched an investigation to ascertain the exact circumstances leading to the crash.
