Couple Battling For Life After Being Hacked By Son Over Family Dispute In Bhadrak

Bhadrak: A man hacked his elderly parents over a family dispute at Talabandha village under Chandbali police limits in Bhadrak district, leaving both in critical condition.

The accused son has been identified as Manoj Nayak. His injured parents Madhusudan Nayak and Madhuri Nayak are undergoing treatment at SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.

According to reports, a quarrel over a family dispute led to an argument between Manoj and his parents. Enraged, the son brutally assaulted his elderly parents, leaving them seriously injured.

Both of his parents were initially admitted to Chandbali Hospital. As health condition deteriorated, they were shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.

Upon being informed, Chandbali police rushed to the spot and began an investigation to ascertain the exact reason behind the gruesome attack.
