Couple Stabbed By Drunk Youth In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: In a shocking incident, a youth allegedly stabbed a couple in the Science Park slum area of the city. The incident occurred around 5 pm, and the accused, identified as Janmajaya Nayak, is believed to have been under the influence of alcohol.

The victims, Shanti Bhushan Nayak and his wife Nirupama Nayak, sustained serious injuries, with Shanti Bhushan suffering severe head wounds. Both are currently undergoing treatment at Capital Hospital in critical condition.

The Shahid Nagar police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident. The motive behind the attack appears to be a minor dispute that escalated. Further details are awaited as the police continue to probe the matter.
