Bhubaneswar: COVID-19 cases in Odisha have climbed to 49, with four new infections reported on Sunday, according to Public Health Director Dr. Nilakantha Mishra.
Addressing media persons, Dr. Mishra informed that 15 patients have recovered so far, while 34 are currently undergoing treatment.
“Most of the recent cases have been reported from Khurda district, including Bhubaneswar city, and from Cuttack,” he said.
The Health Director added that some of the infected persons have been admitted to hospitals, while others are in home isolation based on medical advice.
Meanwhile, the Health Department has urged the public to strictly adhere to COVID-19 guidelines and take all necessary precautions to curb the spread of the virus.
