Bhubaneswar: In view of reports of sporadic cases of Covid-19, wearing face masks has been made mandatory for all passengers, airport and airlines staff and all stakeholders at the Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) here, informed BPIA Director Prabhat Ranjan Beura today.
Beura said that the security agency has been put on alert in this regard and added that the agency has been asked to take action against violators.
The BPIA Director stated that as per the guidelines the airport has been put on alert mode if the situation so arises.
The restrictions were imposed following directives of the Health Department.
