Bhubaneswar: The number of Covid-19 cases in Odisha will increase in the coming days, similar to the trend in other States, said Health Services Director Bijay Mohapatra on Thursday.
However, the State Government is prepared for severity and hospitalisation. As the presence of Omicron has been detected in all districts, there is a need for vaccination, surveillance, and an increase in the number of treatment facilities.
As directed by the Special Relief Commissioner yesterday, people should avoid crowding, and wear masks to break the chain of transmission, added Mohapatra.
