Bhubaneswar: The Crime Branch team investigating into the murder of western Odisha’s heavyweight politician and former Health Minister Naba Kisore Das, today revisited the spot of crime at Gandhi Chowk in Brajarajnagar.
The team, headed by Ramesh Chandra Dora, DSP revisited the spot with the Scientific Officers and Ballistic Experts. The CID-Crime team has put a FARO 3-D Scanner to find out further clue from the spot.
The scanner has taken entire details of the spot in 3R format that will help the investigatior in understanding the sequence of events better. The vehicle used by the Minister was throughly inspected by the Scientific Officer and Ballistic Experts to find out evidence and clues, the Crime Branch stated.
The CCTV footage from nearby the spot was also verified. Examination of the spot and witnesses is continuing by the team. Another team headed by Sishir Mishra, DSP is camping at the native village of accused ASI Gopal Das and the examination of the family members and villagers is underway.
One more team consisting of 8 officers led by DSP Basudev Bhuyan have left for Jharsuguda to conduct/assist in the investigation and examination of the accused and witnesses. The Addl DG of Police, CID/Crime is camping at the spot and personally monitoring the investigation, the Crime Branch stated further.
