Bhubaneswar: The Cuttack district administration has announced that plot allocation for the annual Bali Yatra fair will be done through auction.
At a press meet, Additional District Magistrate (ADM) informed that the application forms will be available from tomorrow till October 9 at Barabati Palace in Cuttack for Rs 100. A person or organisation can apply for a maximum of three plots, with an initial registration fee of Rs 5,000 per plot.
If multiple applications are received for a single plot, an auction will be held to determine the allottee.
The Bali Yatra festival will be held exclusively in the lower ground, with no events scheduled at the upper ground, also known as Killa Maidan, as clarified by the Additional District Magistrate (ADM) during a press meet.
The administration has already decided to hold the trade fair only in the lower ground. The upper ground will be used for the purpose of parking.
