Cuttack: Smrutiranjan Mohanty of Cuttack’s Badambadi area has yet again used his talent to express his devotion to Lord Jagannath during the period of Rath Yatra by creating a miniature model of the Shree Jagannath Temple, Puri.
He has created the replica of the Shree Jagannath Temple and its periphery temples and pillars by using invitation cards, ice cream sticks, matchsticks, cardboard, etc. The height of the temple is 3 inches and its width is 27 centimetres.
Smrutiranjan entered the India Book of Records in 2021 for creating an inch height of Lord Jagannath’s statue out of wax. He is hopeful that his current work will also catch the attention of the masses.
