Bhubaneswar: The remnants of Cyclone Dana, now downgraded to a deep depression, continue to move westward over north coastal Odisha. As of 5:30 PM IST on October 25, the system was positioned near latitude 21.4°N and longitude 86.2°E, approximately 50 km northwest of Bhadrak and 70 km east-southeast of Keonjhar.
According to the latest update shared by India Meteorological Department (IMD), with a current speed of 7 kmph, the deep depression is expected to continue moving westward across northern Odisha and gradually weaken into a depression over the next 12 hours.
The system remains under close observation by the Doppler weather radar at Paradip, which is tracking its progression to ensure timely updates.
