Bhubaneswar: Acting on allegations of possessing disproportionate assets, Odisha Vigilance staff on Thursday launched simultaneous house searches at the properties linked to Basanta Kumar Mohapatra, RTO of Boudh district.
The simultaneous house searches are being conducted by two Additional SPs, 6 DSPs, 6 Inspectors, and other staff of the Vigilance Department on the strength of search warrants issued by Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar, at the following 10 places in Bhubaneswar (Khurdha), Boudh and Ganjam districts.
- Room No. 307 on the 3rd floor at Utkal Signature, Pahala in Bhubaneswar.
- Commercial shopping Complex Nos. 4 & 5 at Utkal Kanika Galleria, Gautam Nagar in Bhubaneswar.
- Flat No. 2504, Block-4, Iconic Tower, Z-1 estate, Kalarahanga in Bhubaneswar.
- A 3 BHK flat No. B/83 on the 8th floor of Utkal Royal Residency at Kalpana Square in Bhubaneswar.
- Flat No A-4/1, West End Apartment, Sailashree Vihar, Bhubaneswar.
- Flat No. 206, 2nd floor, Block Saraswati, Haripriya Enclave, Ranga Matia at Mancheswar in Bhubaneswar.
- The office chamber of Basanta Kumar Mohapatra at the RTO office in Boudh.
- A Rented residential house of Mohapatra located at Jagannath Vihar, Rajanpalli in Boudh.
- The paternal house of Mohapatra located at Bhanjanagar.
- The house of his relative at Kamapali in Berhampur.
