Balangir: In a mysterious incident, the half-burnt body of a woman health worker was found at her Ramchandrapur village residence under Deogaon police limits in Balangir district.
The deceased has been identified as Damayanti Barik, an ANM worker. Damayanti’s husband reportedly sustained burns while saving his wife.
The woman is suspected to have been murdered and then set on fire. Her husband is under suspicion.
Bandhapada and Deogaon police have reached the scene and begun investigating.
