Bhubaneswar: Simultaneous raids being conducted by the Vigilance department on properties linked to Assistant Engineer Raja Kishore Jena in the Roads and Buildings (R&B) Division-III, Bhubaneswar, revealed a vast array of assets, including multiple residential and commercial properties, as well as high-value land parcels.
The raids, led by a team of seven Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs), five Inspectors, a Sub-Inspector, 11 Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs), and other supporting staff, are part of an investigation into allegations of disproportionate assets.
The searches are being conducted under the authority of search warrants issued by the Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar.
The properties uncovered during the search include:
- A triple-storeyed building measuring approx 3,500 sq. ft. over plot No.226 located at Sector-5, Niladri Vihar, Bhubaneswar.
- One Flat vide No.E-083 measuring an area of 1800 Sqft, 8th floor, Cosmopolis, Bhubaneswar.
- Another Flat vide No.H-164 measuring an area of 650 Sqft, 16th floor, Tower H Cosmopolis, Bhubaneswar.
- One shop vide No.024 with area approx 400 sqft. located at Gnd Floor, Utkal Kanika Galleria Mall (Nykaa Luxe Showroom), Bhubaneswar.
- Another shop vide No.16 in Symphony Mall, Rudrapur, Pahala, Bhubaneswar.
The search operation has brought to light a significant accumulation of 13 high-value plots. Details are below:
