Bhubaneswar: Development Commissioner-cum-Additional Chief Secretary Anu Garg today chaired the second meeting of the High Power Committee (HPC) on Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF) for the financial year 2025-26 at Lok Seva Bhawan.
Principal Secretary of Finance Department, Sanjeeb Kumar Mishra, Principal Secretary of the Works Department, Sanjay Kumar Singh, Commissioner-cum-Secretary of Rural Development Department, Yamini Sarangi, CGM, NABARD Sanjay Kumar Talukdar and senior officers of State Government participated in the discussion.
Garg, upon reviewing the achievement of RIDF projects, being implemented by different departments, suggested valuable inputs and urged to expedite the expedited execution of ongoing projects and submission of reimbursement claims within the stipulated time.
Implementing Departments were advised to expedite execution of the projects for the drawal of more low-cost funds under RIDF for the creation of rural infrastructure. New projects for funding under other low-cost funds like Micro Irrigation Fund (MIF), Fisheries & Aquaculture Infrastructure Development Fund (FIDF) , and Food Processing Fund (FPF) were also discussed in the meeting.
Considering the consistently excellent performance of the State of Odisha, NABARD was impressed upon to consider sanction of more projects during FY 2025-26.
