Bhubaneswar: Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is scheduled to undertake a one-day visit to Odisha on Tuesday.
As per reports, he is scheduled to visit Koraput district tomorrow. During the tour, the Defence Minister will inspect the defence production unit of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) located at Sunabeda.
According to information, Rajnath Singh will attend a programme organised at the Sunabeda HAL unit. On the occasion, he is expected to review various activities related to defence production and hold discussions with senior officials of HAL and officers associated with the defence sector.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will also be present during the Defence Minister’s visit. The tour is being considered significant in view of defence production and various issues concerning the HAL unit.
After completing the visit, Rajnath Singh is scheduled to return to Delhi in the afternoon via Raipur.
