Bhubaneswar: Dense fog disrupted flight operations at the Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) in Bhubaneswar today.
Due to poor visibility, no flight operations started at the airport while the IndiGo 6E 2178 flight from Delhi to Bhubaneswar was diverted to Raipur.
As per BPIA authorities, the visibility at the airport was below 150 metres at around 9 AM today, while the temperature was 19 degree Celsius.
The first flight that landed at the airport was the IndiGo flight 6E-7623 from Kolkata to Bhubaneswar at 9.27 AM.
