Bhubaneswar: Development Commissioner-cum-Additional Chief Secretary Anu Garg on Friday reviewed the progress of the Aspirational Districts Programme (ADP) and Aspirational Blocks Programme (ABP) in Odisha. The review meeting, held on Friday, was attended by Central Prabhari Officers, senior State government officials, District Collectors, and representatives from line departments from the identified 16 districts and 40 blocks.
The session, coordinated by T. Ao, Special Secretary, Planning & Convergence Department, focused on the progress of key indicators across core development themes, implementation status of ongoing projects, and initiatives supported through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) partnerships.
Garg stressed the need for convergence of departmental schemes, timely execution, and robust monitoring to achieve holistic growth in the aspirational regions. She lauded the collaborative efforts of NITI Aayog, Central Prabhari Officers, State Nodal Officers, and district administrations, urging all stakeholders to address challenges proactively and sustain momentum toward achieving the programmes’ development goals.
