Bhubaneswar: The much-anticipated queue-based darshan system, ‘Dhadi Darshan,’ is set to be introduced at the Puri Srimandir within the next seven days, following the ongoing relocation of the hundi (donation box) from the temple premises, Law Minister Prithiviraj Harichandan informed on Sunday.
Speaking to the media during his visit to Angul, Minister Harichandan stated that the process of shifting the hundi has already commenced after securing all necessary approvals from the concerned authorities.
“The relocation of the hundi has already started, and the requisite permissions have been secured. The Dhadi Darshan system will be implemented within seven days of the donation box being fully shifted,” he said.
The Minister assured devotees that the new system will ensure a more orderly and secure darshan experience.
“This arrangement is aimed at facilitating a smooth flow of devotees while maintaining security and decorum inside the temple premises,” Harichandan added.
The Dhadi Darshan system will allow devotees to queue in an organised manner, reducing congestion and ensuring fair access to the presiding deities.
