Bhubaneswar: Dialysis, CT scan, MRI like diagnostic facilities will be made available through Public-Private Partnership (PPP) in primary and community health centres in every district across the State. Testimonials of doctors and specialists to be engaged in these facilities will be verified according to a notification issued by the Odisha government, an official press release stated.
The service providers engaged will be monitored from time to time. As per the agreement, these entities will engage doctors and specialists based on their qualifications. However, during the agreement period qualification credentials of doctors and specialists will be verified to ensure whether or not they are eligible to provide these services.
All Chief District Medical & Public Health Officers and Directors of the State have been notified to verify the credentials of the concerned service providers and send them to the department within a week.
An order has been issued by the Department that doctors and specialists to be engaged are required to be physically present to get their testimonials and credentials verified by the Chief District Medical & Public Health Officer.
