Nuapada: More than 16 cases of diarrhoea were reported from Nangalbod village under Sinapali block of Nuapada district on Wednesday.
According to reports, The disease has been spreading in the village for the past three days. Of the affected, six persons are reported to be in serious condition. Two have been referred to the Nuapada District Headquarters Hospital (DHH), while others are undergoing treatment at the Sinapali Community Health Centre (CHC).
In response to the outbreak, a medical team from the Sinapali CHC visited the village to raise awareness and distribute free medicines, according to Dr. Pradip Kumar Panda, Medical Officer of Sinapali CHC.
