Bhubaneswar: Diwali holds a different meaning for visually impaired persons. “Chal Khushi Bantiba”, a different kind of program dedicated to them ahead of the festival of lights, was organized by UDRA Charitable Trust in the Barbeque Nation Restaurant at DN Regalia Mall.
Members of UDRA Charitable Trust took a bus of 50 visually impaired children and organized a cultural program at Barbeque Nation Restaurant throughout the day. Lunch was arranged for them at the restaurant.
Akash Das Nayak, consultant of “Udra” Charitable Trust, Samresh Rautray, Bulu Das, Debashis Patra, and actress Poonam Mishra were present in the program.
In this program, the music was provided by Musician Bishnu Mohan Kabi’s OD01 pop band. The children were delighted to dance along with them and wished the UDRA Charitable Trust as well.
On this occasion, Das Nayak said that “If happiness is shared, happiness will increase. UDRA CharitableTrust often organizes various programs in various festivals to bring smiles on the faces of children who are not in the mainstream of such society, who are neglected in the society. ”
The program was conducted by the secretary of UDRA Charitable Trust, Subhrajyoti Dasnayak.
Shubhashree Mangaraj, Vaishnab Charan Bhola, Devi Prasad Mangaraj, Satya Suman, Asit Sahu, Pawan Patro, Kishore Das, Bhagyadhar Samal and all the staff members of UDRA Charitable Trust were also present at the event.
