Drug Mafia Attacks Police In Capital City, Cops Injured

Bhubaneswar: A team of Dhauli police was attacked by drug mafia during a raid on outskirts of the city on Friday night. An SI of police Santosh Bal was beaten with a hammer by one of the miscreants. He is undergoing treatment at Capital Hospital after being rescued by locals.

The police have arrested four persons in this connection, while the locals have set the drug den and a couple of vehicles used by the miscreants on fire. According to reports, the drug peddlers were using a deserted house from a long time to consume and trade with drugs.
