Drunk Man Kills Wife, Chops Body Into 20 Pieces In Boudh

Bhubaneswar: A man allegedly killed his wife with a sharp weapon and chopped the body into pieces.

The incident took place at Brundaban village under Boudh Town police station in Boudh district.

The deceased woman was identified as Ambruti Nag. Her husband Sanatan Nag is absconding after committing the crime.

Sanatan and his wife lived together in Tikira Sahi of Brundaban village. A habitual drunkard Sanatan used to engage himself in quarrel with his wife everyday.

Last night, he returned home in an inebriated condition and quarrelled with his wife. The argument took an ugly turn when Sanatan brought a sharp weapon and hacked his wife to death. He also chopped the body into  20 to 30 pieces.

In the morning, the villagers noticed blood lying in front of the house. Sensing trouble, they informed the police. The police arrived and broke open the door and recovered Ambriti’s body. Police sent it for post mortem after registering a case in this regard.
