Bhubaneswar: The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Monday issued a notification announcing elections to three Rajya Sabha seats from Odisha on February 27.
As per the ECI notification, the elections will take place from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm, while the counting of votes will be conducted on the day at 5.00 pm.
The last date for filing the nomination papers is February 15 and the last date for withdrawal of candidature is February 20.
It is worth mentioning here that the Rajya Sabha tenure of BJP MP Ashwini Vaishnaw and BJD MPs Amar Patnaik and Prashanta Nanda ends in April this year.
