Bhubaneswar: The East Coast Railway Bharat Scouts & Guides organized its State Council Meeting at Rail Sadan, Bhubaneswar, under the chairmanship of President, ECoR Bharat Scouts & Guides-cum-Additional General Manager, G. H. Victor Joseph.
The Council reviewed the organization’s performance and activities and discussed the proposed annual programme for 2026-27, including targets and initiatives to strengthen the Scouts & Guides movement and enhance participation and outreach.
Addressing the meeting, G. H. Victor Joseph emphasized systematic planning, active participation and effective implementation of Scout Guide activities across the Zone. A ceremonial oath taking programme was also held for newly inducted members, who formally joined the organization.
Sanjay Kumar, State Chief Commissioner-cum-Principal Chief Personnel Officer, ECoR, along with Principal Heads of Departments, State officials and district officials from Khurda Road, Visakhapatnam, Sambalpur and Central District, participated in the meeting.
Scouting and Guiding promotes discipline, leadership, teamwork, service and responsible citizenship through community and social welfare activities.
