ECoR GM Inspects Sambalpur–Titlagarh–Theruvali Section

Bhubaneswar: General Manager of East Coast Railway (ECoR) Parmeshwar Funkwal, conducted a thorough inspection of the Sambalpur–Titlagarh–Theruvali railway section under the Sambalpur Division today.

According to an ECoR release, during the visit, General Manager Funkwal inspected key stations including Bargarh Road, Barpali, and Doikallu.

He reviewed the existing passenger amenities, assessed the pace of ongoing developmental works, and evaluated infrastructure enhancement initiatives throughout the section.

Special emphasis was laid on monitoring the progress of works under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, aimed at transforming station facilities for enhanced passenger experience.

He also interacted with frontline railway staff and conducted inspections of fixed assets and operational establishments.

Funkwal was accompanied by Subash C. Chaudhary, Divisional Railway Manager, Sambalpur, along with other senior officers of the division.
