Bhubaneswar: Odia film producer and journalist Alaya Mohanty passed away on Tuesday morning. Mohanty was 65.
According to his family, Mohanty was undergoing treatment at a private hospital here. He succumbed to a cardiac arrest, they said.
Mohanty’s film ‘Asha’ has won a National Award. He produced popular serials like Balighar and Marichika.
People from different walks of life condoled Mohanty’s demise. He will be cremated at Swargadwar in Puri, Mohanty’s family stated
