Bhubaneswar: The valuation of Plus II answer sheets will commence from April 2, 2026, in two phases.
As per reports, the first phase will be from April 2 to 13, and the second phase will be from April 15 to 26. Around 16,000 teachers will be engaged for the valuation process.
Some subjects from Science, Commerce, and Arts streams will undergo e-evaluation, while subjects from Arts and Vocational streams will be evaluated manually. Special staff will be appointed to ensure smooth functioning of e-evaluation centres and prevent computer hangs.
The valuation process is expected to be completed by the end of April, and results will be declared in the third week of May, as stated by Prashant Kumar Parida, Controller of Examinations of Council of Higher Secondary Education.
Notably, the Plus II exam valuation process will have 151 centres including 76 offline and 75 online. Around 3,500 evaluators will assess online answer sheets and 4,500 will evaluate offline answer sheets in the first phase. In the second phase, 8,000 evaluators will participate.
Approximately 25 lakh answer sheets will be evaluated which includes 15 lakh offline and 10 lakh online. Scripts from all four streams will be evaluated at once, ensuring strict security measures at valuation centres.
As per the decision, teachers assigned to evaluate answer papers will report to centers at the designated time. No one will leave the centre until daily work is completed. Entry and exit times of teachers will be recorded in a register. Mobile phones and electronic materials are banned to valuation centres. Valuation will run from 10 am to 6 pm daily.
