Balasore: A family dispute turned deadly after a young man committed suicide hours before his cousin sister killed herself over a family dispute at Kothara village under Dhusuri police station Bhadrak district on Saturday.
The exact reason behind the drastic steps of the siblings remains unclear.
The son of Bidyadhar Behera committed suicide on Saturday morning while the daughter of Bidyadhar’s elder brother hanged herself inside her house.
The youth who committed suicide has been identified as Sanatan Behera and his sister Nirupama Behera.
It is suspected that the incident is a fallout of a domestic quarrel.
Dhushuri police arrived at the scene and started an investigation.
