Balangir: A farmer died after falling in an electrified trap laid for wild boar at Karuajhar village under Deogaon in Balangir district on Sunday night.
The deceased identified as Anang Mallick was returning from his farm when he fell into the trap. As he did not return home till late night, family members started searching for him.
Later, his son Rupesh found Anang has fell into the trap. He removed the electrified trap with the help of a trap and found that Anang has died.
Following it, Rupesh lodged a police complaint alleging he has been murdered at he had a dispute with the owner of the farm where the trap had been laid.
While police have initiated a probe into the matter, the accused persons identified as Gangadhar Sahu and his son Sumanta Sahu are reportedly absconding.
