Cuttack: A farmland demarcation dispute between two families in Bishnupur village under Tigiria police limits escalated into a violent clash on Saturday, leaving six people seriously injured, including women from both sides.

The disagreement between the Senapati and Gocchi families began on Friday but turned violent the following day, resulting in physical clashes. Locals intervened and rescued the injured, who were initially taken to the Tigiria Community Health Center for treatment.

Three of the injured were later shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack due to their critical condition.

Tigiria police have reached the scene and initiated an investigation into the incident.
