Nuapada: In a tragic incident, a man and his son were killed in a road mishap when a car hit the motorcycle they were travelling in near Baragaon under Sinapalli block in Nuapada district, on Monday.
While the father-son duo died on the very spot, the daughter sustained severe in the mishap. Her condition is stated to be critical.
The deceased have been identified as Atmaram Tandi (60) and his son Lingaraj Tandi (25). Atmaram’s daughter Belamati Tandi (30) is battling for life.
According to sources, Atmaram along with his son and daughter were going to Baragaon village when a car hit their bike. As a result, both father-son duo died on the very spot.
Belmati was rushed to Sinapalli Community Health Centre (CHC) through an ambulance.
Upon being informed, Sinapalli police reached the spot and began a probe into it.
Police also seized the bodies from the accident site.
