A peculiar case of a son contesting against his father has come to notice in the upcoming elections for Polasara Notified Area Council (NAC) in Ganjam district.
According to reports, while one Duryodhan Sahu has filed his nomination for the post of Councillor from Ward no. 2 as a BJP candidate, his son Anil Kumar Sahu has filed nomination for the same post as a BJD candidate.
With elections scheduled to be held on March 24, it remains to be seen how vitriolic the father-son campaign turns out in the coming days.
