FIH Pro League: Dy CM KV Singh Deo, Sports Minister Suryabanshi Suraj Boost Players’ Morale

Bhubaneswar: The FIH Pro League has commenced at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar. The tournament, which began today, will continue till February 25.

On the opening day, Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo and Sports Minister Suryabanshi Suraj graced the occasion, extending their best wishes to the players and boosting their morale.

The first day of the league witnessed three thrilling matches, two in the women’s category and one in the men’s category. In the women’s category, Spain secured a victory against Germany, while India emerged victorious against England. In the men’s category, Spain defeated India.

A large number of spectators and hockey enthusiasts gathered at Kalinga Stadium to witness the electrifying matches, creating an atmosphere of excitement and passion for the sport.
