Bhubaneswar: The final list of Wards and Booths for the upcoming urban local bodies (ULB) polls in the State has been published and the same has been approved by the State Election Commission (SEC), said an official press release.
The State has a total of 110 urban local bodies which include 48 municipalities, 59 notified area councils (NACs), and 3 municipal corporations.
The combined total of Wards and booths in municipalities and NACs is respectively 1,763 and 3,277.
Similarly, the total number of Wards in the three municipal corporations in the State is 168 while the total number of booths is 1,407.
The combined strength of wards and booths in 110 ULBs in the State is respectively 1,931 and 4,584.
Notably, there are 59 Wards and 452 booths in Cuttack Municipal Corporation, 42 Wards and 250 booths in Berhampur Municipal Corporation, and 67 Wards and 705 booths in Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation.
