Bhubaneswar: A fire broke out in an upper primary (UP) school at Dasini village under Bandhugaon block in Koraput on Wednesday. No fatalities were reported in the incident.
According to reports, water seeping through the school roof due to incessant rain led to an electric short circuit, leading to the fire.
Documents, a ceiling fan and a few other assets of the school have been gutted. Fire services personnel reached the spot and doused the flames.
