Balasore: A fire broke out in the housekeeping room of the Balasore District Headquarters Hospital, causing panic among patients and staff. The fire, which is suspected to have been caused by a short circuit, was quickly brought under control by the Fire Department.
According to eyewitnesses, smoke was seen billowing out of the room, prompting locals to alert hospital authorities. The fire department was immediately called, and their prompt response helped prevent the fire from spreading.
The room contained stocks of phenyl, clothes, and hospital supplies, which were damaged in the fire. Fortunately, there were no reports of any injuries or loss of life. The hospital administration has launched an investigation into the incident to determine the exact cause of the fire.
