Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department has issued a fresh fishermen warning for the Odisha coast on Thursday.
According to the alert, squally weather with wind speeds reaching 40-50 kmph, gusting up to 60 kmph, is very likely to prevail occasionally along and off the Odisha coast today. Sea conditions are expected to remain rough to very rough.In view of the deteriorating sea conditions, fishermen have been strictly advised not to venture into the sea along and off the Odisha coast on April 9, 2026.
Fishermen are urged to take the advisory seriously to ensure their safety and keep a close watch on further weather updates.
