Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a fishermen warning advising against venturing into the sea along and off the Odisha coast from August 11 to 14.
According to the warning issued today, squally weather with wind speeds reaching 35-45 kmph and gusting up to 55 kmph is very likely to prevail along and off the Odisha coast during this period. The sea condition is expected to remain rough to very rough.
Fishermen have been strongly advised not to venture into the sea along and off the Odisha coast from August 11 to 14 in view of the prevailing weather conditions.
