Malkangiri: A forester has been seriously injured in wild boar attack in Balimela forest division in Malkangiri district.
According to reports, forester Mohan Gudia of Balimela forest division a few days back had rescued an injured wild boar. The wild boar turned aggressive and attacked Gudia while he was releasing it in the wild on Wednesday after treatment.
The wild boar has chewed off one of Gudia’s fingers. He is undergoing treatment at the district headquarters hospital here.
