Former Aul MLA Debendra Sharma Passes Away

Bhubaneswar: Debendra Sharma, the former MLA from Aul in Kendrapara district, passed away on Friday. He breathed his last while undergoing treatment at a private hospital here. He was 66.

Debendra Sharma was known as a grassroots-level organizer and a dedicated leader. He was elected to the 15th Odisha Legislative Assembly (2014-19) on a Congress ticket. His demise has left a void in the political and social circles of the region.
