Bhubaneswar: Former BJD MLA from Bhawanipatna Anam Naik joined the BJP at the party’s state headquarters here on Thursday.
Naik along with his supporters joined the saffron party in the presence of the BJP State Unit president Manmohan Samal, Leader of the Opposition in the Odisha Assembly Jayanarayan Mishra and other leaders.
Also, several Youth Congress leaders and workers of Mayurbhanj district including Pradesh Congress Committee member Rakesh Singh joined the BJP at the party’s state headquarters.
Samal and Mishra welcomed new entrants into the party fold by offering them party caps and saffron stoles with the party symbol.
