Bhubaneswar: Returning from a month-long leave, IAS officer Vijay Amruta Kulange has joined as the Managing Director of Orissa State Cooperative Milk Producers’ Federation Ltd (OMFED).
An official notification issued on March 16 read, “The post of Managing Director, OMFED, Bhubaneswar, is declared equivalent in status and responsibility to the post of Joint Secretary provided in the IAS cadre of the state.”
A 2013 batch officer and the former Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), Kulange had been on a month-long leave since February 24. Cooperation Secretary Rajesh Pravakar Patil has replaced him as commissioner of BMC.
