Bhubaneswar: Former MLA Jaynarayan Mohanty passed away following a prolonged illness at AIIMS-Bhubaneswar on Saturday. He was 73.
His son Satyakam Mohanty informed about the death of the former MLA.
He was suffering from kidney ailments and other old age-related diseases. He breathed his last while undergoing treatment at AIIMS-Bhubaneswar.
Mohanty was elected to Odisha Assembly twice from a Congress ticket.
