Four Injured As Gas Cylinder Explodes In Titlagarh

Titlagarh (Balangir):  A gas cylinder blast at a wedding ceremony in Titilagarh left four people injured on Thursday. The incident took place at the Shubh Mangal Palace resort, where a wedding reception was underway.

According to sources, a gas pipe is suspected to have detached from the cylinder which led to the explosion. The blast was so powerful that it damaged nearby vehicles.

Local people rushed the injured to the local hospital and later shifted to Raipur Hospital for further treatment. The condition of one of the injured is stated to be critical.

The police have launched an investigation into the incident and are questioning the catering staff and the gas cylinder supplier. The exact cause of the blast is yet to be determined.
