Four Labourers Die Of Asphyxiation In Nabarangapur

Nabarangapur: Four labourers died due to asphyxiation while undertaking septic tank construction work in the Nandahandi block of Nabarangapur district on Tuesday.

The deceased labourers were identified as Lalu Rana, Trilochan Bharat, N. Santu, and Amir Khura.

The labourers were engaged in cleaning a septic tank in Padalguda village when they allegedly succumbed to oxygen deficiency and collapsed at the site.

Upon receiving information about the incident, the fire department personnel arrived at the scene, rescued the labourers, and rushed them to the District Headquarters Hospital. However, the doctors declared them dead upon arrival.
