Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a nowcast warning for four districts in Odisha and predicted light to moderate thunderstorms with lightning and gusty surface winds of up to 30-40 kmph within the next three hours.
The weather conditions will affect Nuapada, Balangir, Nabarangapur and Kalahandi districts, according to the nowcast warning issued by the IMD at 8:15 am.
The warning is in effect for the next three hours and residents are advised to remain cautious and take necessary precautions to protect themselves from lightning strikes. The IMD has urged people to keep a close eye on the weather and seek shelter in safe locations if necessary.
