Bhubaneswar: A 50-year-old man from Baramunda in Bhubaneswar has tested positive for COVID-19, marking a fresh case of the infection in Odisha’s capital, sources said on Friday.
According to hospital authorities, the man underwent COVID-19 testing following which he was found to be infected. He has since been admitted to a private hospital in Bhubaneswar, where he is currently under medical observation and receiving treatment.
His present health condition and other details are yet to be ascertained. Authorities are also expected to ascertain the possible source of the infection and whether the patient had any recent travel history or contact with an infected person.
